The Butler Gallery hosts Ciara Roche’s ‘Honeymoon’, an exhibition of paintings based on the artist’s own photography, film stills and found imagery of domestic scenes and public places. Roche’s work explores themes of desire, fantasy and fear. Her application of paint creates luminosity and a sense of movement, and the work is enhanced by theatrical lighting and staging.
