The Bourn Vincent Gallery at the University of Limerick presents ‘Material World’, a body of new sculpture by West Cork-based artist Moss Gaynor. This is a second outing for the exhibition, having been shown last year at the Irish Cultural Centre, London. A past student of the University of Limerick, Gaynor is interested in combining found or chance objects with intensively made machine-like pieces. He works primarily with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, often combining the base material with other media such as stone, wood and glass.
