Mary Ronayne’s ‘Fool’s Paradise’ at the House of Fine Art features the artist’s fantasy world of cartoon-like characters worked in viscous and thickly applied enamel paint. Collecting imagery from literature, old prints and paintings, photographs and magazines, Ronayne’s creates incongruous and divergent scenarios, fusing historical eras, reality and fiction.
