The Irish Cultural Centre shows a collection of work by artists Eve Parnell, Frances Breen and Laura O’Hagan in honour of St Brigid’s Day. Titled ‘Fáinleog’ (the swallow and little wandered), the exhibition pays homage to the environment and the diaspora. Parnell’s drawings and paintings often explore issues that society struggles to address, while O’Hagan works in clay sculpture and large-scale mosaic commissions. Breen, a specialist in book arts at NCAD, is known for her lettering and calligraphy work.
