Working in collaboration with IMMA, the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda presents a survey of the later work of the American artist Jo Baer. Baer lived in Ireland between 1975 and 1982 and ‘Coming Home Late’ features the six paintings in her Ireland-inspired series ‘In the Land of the Giants’. Two more recent works are shown along with a selection of ephemera detailing the artist’s extensive archaeologically driven research. The exhibition will follow on to IMMA in late August.
