‘Beckett and his Worlds’, at the Irish Arts Centre in New York displays photographs of those who knew and worked with Samuel Beckett, all taken by John Minihan. The photographer first met Beckett in 1980 and their friendship led to the creation of some of the most remarkable and iconic photographic images of the writer. As part of the exhibition’s public programme, Minihan will present ‘Beckett and the Wake’, which recounts his meetings with the writer.
