‘Clare Moments’ at the Scariff Library showcases Phillip Brennan’s watercolours of the Clare landscape. Brennan began exhibiting his paintings in the 1970s and has since worked around the world – but he always returns to Clare. The works capture the county’s unique landscape – skylarks and sparrowhawks on the Burren, quiet riversides and the Loop Head coastline.
