Blue House Gallery’s summer exhibitions include artist Lynda Miller Baker’s small icons that recall the Byzantine world, while Christine Thery examines the depopulation of the Irish countryside. Later in June, recent works by the late Thurloe Conolly are shown, followed by a collaborative show by Brian Lalor and Jim Turner titled ‘Between Iraq and a Hard Place,’ which explores the destruction of communities and antiquities in the Middle East. Other exhibitions include etchings by Grainne Cuffe and ‘Site Pacific’, an exploration of tribal art.
