‘West Meets West’ at Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre shows work by three artists from Cornwall: Philip Booth, Matthew Lanyon and Tony Lattimer. The work explores the historic links and similarities between the two seaboards, Cornwall and West Cork, beginning with a shared prehistoric culture. Later, work by William Crozier is on show, in conjunction with the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Known for his lyrical West Cork landscapes from the mid-1980s, these paintings are exhibited alongside early work inspired by
existentialism.
