In her exhibition ‘The Boglands are Breathing’ at The Model, Siobhán McDonald explores the role of boglands as repositories of our past and guardians of our future, as mythical places and areas where important changes are taking place. McDonald blends scientific and creative processes to make sculpture, video, works on paper, paintings and sound pieces that aim to expand our awareness of the significance of bogs.
