Coinciding with the annual Yeats Summer School, Tread Softly is a Sligo-wide arts festival – presented in collaboration with Blue Raincoat Theatre, Hawk’s Well Theatre and Sligo County Co – that celebrates the cultural legacy of the Yeats family. As part of the festivities, the Hamilton Gallery and Hyde Bridge Gallery will jointly host ‘Nineteen Hundred and Nineteen’, a group exhibition of invited artists showing work on the theme of the Yeats’ poem of the same name.
