Kevin Mooney’s commissioned exhibition ‘The Erlish Tide’ at the Excel Gallery explores an alternative Irish art history, drawing on the relationship between Irish visual culture and patterns of emigration. Mooney’s paintings and sculptural elements are inspired by the roots, traditions and folklore of Samhain.
