The paintings in Kilkenny-based artist Pilar Cereto’s exhibition, ‘Whispers of the Wild’ at Cahir Arts, combine expressions of femininity with the untamed beauty of the natural world. A largely self-taught artist, Cereto’s multimedia work blends realist and abstract elements and creates an interplay between texture and colour.
