‘Wait’, an exhibition of work by Tom Molloy at the Centre Culturel Irlandais, examines the theme of power, exploring the ways it corrupts and its relationship with questions of morality. For the last five years Tom Molloy has lived in France and for this exhibition has created a number of new works examining various aspects of his adopted country from the position of the outsider. An enthusiastic collector of images, Molloy’s work encompasses drawing, collage, photography, and sculpture, that seeks to challenge perceptions through ambiguity of form.
